Counting stars group song

In todays lesson 15.9.15 we performed our final class version of counting stars. Firstly me and the other singers went into another room and practiced the song and mainly harmonies. For the bridge sang the melody while there was two different higher harmony lines. Once we had rehearsed everyone came together and played along to the original song to get timings and the structure of the song right. Then we played without the original song together twice then finally made 2 final recordings.


Thoughts on how we did

• I think the singers did well and our harmonies went well. The only improvement would be to get everyone to sing up as the microphones were not all working very well or at the wrong sound level.
• The drummer however kept changing tempo and confuing the singers as we also had to keep changing our tempo and timings. This caused our performance to not be as good as it could of been.
